Holiday Mini FAQ
,,
Q: When will mini sessions take place?
A: mini sessions will take place on Nov. 15 – Dec. 8.
Q: What is the theme for this year?
A: The scene this year is The Christmas Ball. We’ve designed our setup to have 2 settings, a grand setting with various large gold balls, golden christmas tree, and red antique sofa. Another setting includes a white setting with a large golden frame with various golden balls near the frame.
Q: Are pets allowed in the setup?
A: Due to medical concerns and the short time frame for the session, family pets are not allowed.
Q: How many images will we receive and how do we order?
A: You will receive a link to the online gallery of your images in 3-7 business days via email. In your gallery you will order the 3 digital images that are included in your session. If you wish to order more images or prints you may do so through the online gallery.
Q: How long is my mini session?
A: Mini sessions are 30 minutes only.
Q: I have a very large family can I have more than 5 in the portrait session?
A: We have the ability to support very large families in our studio. However, the mini session price only includes up to 5 people. Each additional family member is $25/per person.
, Q: Can we change outfits?
A: Because your holiday mini is only 30 minutes, you may only have one outfit. We ask that you come already dressed. If you must change before your mini session at the studio, please contact us in advance to make arrangement at our studio.
Q: What if we’re running late to our mini session?
A: We request that you plan on arriving to your mini session at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time. If you are more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled session, you will have less time for your holiday mini. If you are 20 minutes or more late, you will have to reschedule or cancel your mini session.
Q: What happens if my child is very emotional or will not smile during the mini session?
A: We ask that you please make sure your child has plenty of rest and has eaten before the mini session. Please make sure they do not have heavy sleep before mini session. Some children need more time to wake up from deep sleep. Interrupted sleep may cause children to be groggy, upset or lethargic during the mini session. We understand that children can get emotional during the mini session. We do our best to take a break to help them relax. If that does not work unfortunately, we will have to proceed with the session, reschedule, or cancel the mini session.
Please make sure you do not book your session at a time your child generally takes a nap or very late past their bedtime.
We will do our best to help your child smile. However, we cannot guarantee they will smile. If your child will not smile we will have to take the photograph in the alloted time we have for your portrait session.
Q: What will happen if I have to cancel or miss my holiday mini?
A: There are no refunds on holiday minis. We will do our best to reschedule your holiday mini within our holiday portrait season. If we cannot come to an agreement or there are no available slots, we will work to schedule a mini family portraits session within a 6 month timeframe.
Q: How do we sign up for a mini session?
A: Please select the “Book Now” button at the top of the page.
Q: How much are mini sessions? How do we pay?
A: The cost for holiday mini is $250 + tax. Payment in full will be required at time of booking. You will also be required to sign a portrait session agreement. Both payment and signed agreement must be completed to book your holiday mini. You are not booked until both are completed.
Q: What do you recommend we wear for our holiday minis?

– Outdated outfits like white shirt and khaki pants
– Clothes that do not fit
– Sports and active wear

About your photographers
Yes, we’re a husband and wife team with different eyes, but same vision. Teddy is the techie (that rhymes). Jaé is the free spirit. We’re a mix of engineer, analyst, but overall…photographers. We’ve been celebrating others through portraits for 19 years, right here in Central Georgia. Where did the name Exodus come from, you ask? Well, our company is named after our daughter, who really inspired us to take photography more seriously.
