It’s always refreshing for us to end our weekend and start our week with a wonderful photography session. We had a great time with the Johnson family in downtown Macon. Loving husband and father KJ had fun. Big Brother Ques is such a cool and smart young man. Mom, Ok Mom was stylish. Who said that you can’t be stylish while pregnant? Betsy is a senior at Central High School where she is the member of the Key Club. Betsy is a professional dancer and instructor for Dance Dynamics in Macon, GA and has performed all over the U.S. with the dance company. She is writing her first book and loves to paint. This summer she traveled to Seattle and Italy. She plans to attend college and major in advertising and graphic design. We could not leave out a little bit of dancing during her shoot. We always look forward to photographing classmates. It’s great to catch up and see what they’ve been up to since high school. Well, we had an awesome time with Shaundra. She needed a few updated headshots and personal shots, so we introduced her to the modern headshots. Since Shaundra is a University Librarian we wanted to show that librarians have style and class. As you all know, Georgia has been crazy hot lately along with the rest of the country. However, we managed to photograph Shenica along with her daughter Jade in a very shaded and cool park. Andre was close by, but decided that this would be a mother daughter session. He was a great help to his wife and daughter. It was great capturing their wedding day and consider it a pleasure to capture a new chapter in their lives. We are excited about the twins that are on the way and even more excited that she’s having a girl for her and a boy for Andre. We know that Jade will be a wonderful big sister. It’s not often that we get an opportunity to photograph our high school classmates. It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with Greg, Tiffany, and Roxy. The session took place in Downtown Macon, GA. We also took Roxy to the dog park for her own little play time and photos. We are looking forward to witnessing Greg’s venture for a project that he has in the making. We absolutely love to see our family and friends make their dreams a reality. Last weekend we had the pleasure of photographing the 1st Miss Black Macon, Georgia, Erica-Christina Little. Erica-Christina is a graduate of Savannah State University, and is a 3rd grade teacher at St. Peter Claver. She has held numerous titles in her pageant career. What does this couple have in common? Well let me tell you. They attended the same college, pursued the same career, both are principals in Henry County, GA, married, OH and they’re having a baby! We took this wonderful couple to Shirley Hills Park for their portrait session. The first session was rained out. Thankfully the rain held out yesterday for an hour or two to capture the glow. We first met Jessica and Sam at a wedding that we shot last year. Jessica and I (Jae’) kept in touch after that day. I was glad to get the news that she and Sam were engaged one beautiful day in March. After catching so many bouquets and garters, this Louisiana native and this USAF Captain from Georgia are ready to plan their own weddings. We had a wonderful time capturing them during their engagement session. There is so much love and affection displayed without us having to remind them that, “Hey! We always look forward to sponsoring the Walk for Babies event. This year’s event was at the Ocmulgee National Monument in Macon, GA. It was great to see all the teams lined up dressed in their colors and company t-shirts. There were moon walks, Wii stations, cotton candy, snow cones, face painting and tons of fun all to benefit March of Dimes. The ambassadors for this year were twin girls Walker and Hayden Tom. Thanks to Jennifer Simmons and the entire Central Georgia March of Dimes staff for putting together such a wonderful walk. Here is a fusion video from the event. Enjoy!!
I (Jae’) think I’ve known Sharon for about 5 years now and it all goes back to when I was a fairly new mom and joined a local moms group called The Moms Troop. At the time the Hesters only had one daughter and a son on the way. The Hesters moved to another city in Georgia and has since added on to the family another sweet daughter. We were so excited to finally photograph their beautiful family on Coleman Hill in Macon, GA. We even found a few left over plastic Easter Eggs filled with candy.
