You all know that we love to do different things and go different places. Well, this time we went to Juliette, GA – McCrackin Dr. the location where the movie Fried Green Tomatoes was filmed. This engagement session was packed full of fun and love. First of all, these are some of the nicest people ever, and they invited us to some of their favorite places in Juliette. J even shared a few of his childhood memories where he spent most of his summer days at the mill and dam. Now the dam was another story in itself. We loved how Anna and J were willing to step out onto the ledge of the waterfall and slide across rocks and algae to make their session memorable. This was a really nice change of pace for us to shoot in new and meaningful locations. We are looking forward to your wedding in September on Lake Oconee! Here are a few images from the session…Enjoy!
On May 15th we had the opportunity to take part and capture the Youth summit 2010 sponsored by Hodac at New Hope International – Warner Robins, GA. This was a prevention and self esteem event geared toward preteens and teens ages 10-18. The special guest speakers were Marc Fomby and his team from FTC Prevention Services out of Richland, Mississippi. Not only did the teens learn about prevention, they also had fun which consisted of a few dance competitions, name that song game and great sports ability by Kingdom Impact. This was by far one of the best teen events that we’ve seen in our community.
If you’ve never heard of Hodac, here is a brief description. Hodac’s main service areas include Information & Referral, Intervention, Education and Gateway Programs . Referrals, information, and special programs are offered through Hodac – programs that assist employers, teachers, those with substance abuse problems and their families, compulsive gamblers and their families, adolescents at risk, crime victims, and many others. We are so pleased to be part of such a wonderful program. Here are a few images from a great day. Enjoy!
Mr. & Mrs. Northern married at Victory Deliverance Tabernacle in Warner Robins, GA. The wedding was definitely a family affair. There weren’t many dry eyes in sight as the bridesmaids dressed in their matching green cocktail dresses and groomsmen in their tux with green accessories walked down the aisle to the sweet sounds. As Ciara walked down the aisle escorted by her brother, Marcus looked on with a smile on his face, parents with tears in their eyes. We were pleased to capture the moment. The ceremony was followed by the reception at the NCO Club on Robins AFB where we concluded their intimate night shots. Congratulations Marcus and Ciara! Here are just a few images from the wedding day. Enjoy!
What does this couple have in common? Well let me tell you. They attended the same college, pursued the same career, both are principals in Henry County, GA, married, OH and they’re having a baby! We took this wonderful couple to Shirley Hills Park for their portrait session. The first session was rained out. Thankfully the rain held out yesterday for an hour or two to capture the glow. Joycelyn and Purvis have about five more weeks to go and they’ll be welcoming their little bundle of joy. We are so happy for you. Here are a few images from the portrait session. Enjoy!
Had a very eventful weekend, but started it with a wonderful session at one of our favorite locations with the Styles family. We absolutely love to photograph our baby club members. It gives us an opportunity to see how much the little ones have grown. Little Kamryn is 10 months now and just as cute as can be. We were about 15 minutes in the shoot when all of a sudden the rain came from out of nowhere. It’s amazing what 5 seconds of pouring rain can do. We still managed to get a few more photos in after the rain and we’re so glad that we did. Here are a few images from the Styles family session. Enjoy!!
We first met Jessica and Sam at a wedding that we shot last year. Jessica and I (Jae’) kept in touch after that day. I was glad to get the news that she and Sam were engaged one beautiful day in March. After catching so many bouquets and garters, this Louisiana native and this USAF Captain from Georgia are ready to plan their own weddings. We had a wonderful time capturing them during their engagement session. There is so much love and affection displayed without us having to remind them that, “Hey! You’re getting married, act like it!” We are looking forward to capturing their special day on June 12th at the New City Church in downtown Macon GA. Here are a few images from the session. Enjoy!!
We’ve been spending a lot of time on the campus of Fort Valley State University these days. Visiting Teddy’s Alma Mata brings back so many memories for him as well as our engaged couple. This time we were there shooting an engagement session for Shenica & Andre’. When I first met them, I was told by Shenica that our photography brought tears to her eyes. We are truly humbled by her comment and look forward to capturing the love between this wonderful couple on May 1st at Henderson Village in Perry, GA as they become husband and wife. Here are a few images from the session. Enjoy!
It’s always great to celebrate kid’s birthdays. In this case we celebrated little Brandon’s a little early by capturing special moments with his parents and grandparents. The theme for his party this week will be trains, so we went to the Train Depot in Byron, GA. Please join us in wishing Brandon a Happy Birthday.
I (Jae’) think I’ve known Sharon for about 5 years now and it all goes back to when I was a fairly new mom and joined a local moms group called The Moms Troop. At the time the Hesters only had one daughter and a son on the way. The Hesters moved to another city in Georgia and has since added on to the family another sweet daughter. We were so excited to finally photograph their beautiful family on Coleman Hill in Macon, GA. We even found a few left over plastic Easter Eggs filled with candy. Here are a few fun images from their session.
There couldn’t have been a better day to get married for this couple. Not only was it a beautiful day, but it was one of the busiest days in Macon GA. Yes, Cherry Blossom Time. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Macon. They had family and friend from near and far celebrate with them. I absolutely loved the peacock feather accents that adorned the bouquet, hairpieces, and boutonnieres. Joshua and Jessica decided to see each other prior to the ceremony which made the butterflies go away as well as spend a little time together without the guest present. If there is one thing that this family knows how to do, it’s party!!! There was nonstop energy packed reception that they will never forget. We are so happy to have been your photographers! We look forward to many more moments with you. Again, Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Farrell
