Johnson Family Maternity

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

It’s always refreshing for us to end our weekend and start our week with a wonderful photography session. We had a great time with the Johnson family in downtown Macon. Loving husband and father KJ had fun. Big Brother Ques is such a cool and smart young man. Mom, Ok Mom was stylish. Who said that you can’t be stylish while pregnant? Especially when it comes to shoes :D . This family/maternity session is one for the books. Here are a few images from the Johnson family session.

Jay & Tiffany – Maternity

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

If last Saturday had a name, it would be called “Maternity Saturday” since we had a few maternity sessions lined up for the day. We were out and about bright and early to photograph Jay and Tiffany. Fort Valley seemed to be the best place for their session. It was not busy and nothing was open at that time of morning. We took advantage of several locations in the area. There was a few times where Tiffany gave us a scare. As a matter of fact, by the time she and Jay read this blog, they’ll be heading off to welcome little Jay to the world. We are so excited and look forward to capturing they’re little bundle of joy. Here are a few images from their maternity session. Enjoy!!

Mr. & Mrs. Dinkins….Roxy Too!

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

It’s not often that we get an opportunity to photograph our high school classmates.  It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with Greg, Tiffany, and Roxy.  The session took place in Downtown Macon, GA.  We also took Roxy to the dog park for her own little play time and photos.  We are looking forward to witnessing Greg’s venture for a project that he has in the making.  We absolutely love to see our family and friends make their dreams a reality.  We are so excited about what’s to come :D .  Here are a few images from the session.  Enjoy!!

Whodat Getting Married? Jessica & Sam

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

We first met Jessica and Sam at a wedding that we shot last year.   Jessica and I (Jae’) kept in touch after that day.  I was glad to get the news that she and Sam were engaged one beautiful day in March.  After catching so many bouquets and garters, this Louisiana native and this USAF Captain from Georgia are ready to plan their own weddings.  We had a wonderful time capturing them during their engagement session.  There is so much love and affection displayed without us having to remind them that, “Hey!  You’re getting married, act like it!”  We are looking forward to capturing their special day on June 12th at the New City Church in downtown Macon GA.  Here are a few images from the session.  Enjoy!!

Hester Family – Family Session

Monday, April 12th, 2010

I (Jae’) think I’ve known Sharon for about 5 years now and it all goes back to when I was a fairly new mom and joined a local moms group called The Moms Troop. At the time the Hesters only had one daughter and a son on the way. The Hesters moved to another city in Georgia and has since added on to the family another sweet daughter. We were so excited to finally photograph their beautiful family on Coleman Hill in Macon, GA. We even found a few left over plastic Easter Eggs filled with candy. Here are a few fun images from their session.

Congratulations Joshua & Jessica!

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

There couldn’t have been a better day to get married for this couple. Not only was it a beautiful day, but it was one of the busiest days in Macon GA. Yes, Cherry Blossom Time. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Macon. They had family and friend from near and far celebrate with them. I absolutely loved the peacock feather accents that adorned the bouquet, hairpieces, and boutonnieres. Joshua and Jessica decided to see each other prior to the ceremony which made the butterflies go away as well as spend a little time together without the guest present. If there is one thing that this family knows how to do, it’s party!!! There was nonstop energy packed reception that they will never forget. We are so happy to have been your photographers! We look forward to many more moments with you. Again, Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Farrell

*KIDROBOT*

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

For those of you who are in the military know that it’s never easy for you or for your family when duty calls and you have to deploy. So to keep his mind off of things a bit Chase decided to do something for himself before he leaves in 2 weeks. That something was to have his first photo shoot. We found a few locations that were oh so fitting to his style and personality. It was a bit colder than expected, but he was a trooper. We had a great time during this shoot. KIDROBOT, we are praying for you and your safe and speedy return. Here are a few images from the shoot.

Downtown Macon…

Monday, February 8th, 2010

Before we shoot a portrait session, we like to get out and scout various areas. Areas that the general public may not take notice. Last Saturday I decided to get out and check out downtown Macon. The weather was freezing and wind was blowing but it felt good just to be out shooting.
