As you all know, we really love to photograph babies. It’s always a special moment for us as well as the parents. We had planned to do a maternity session with Alanna on a Wednesday, but little Miss Alexis decided that she was ready to say hello to the world the Monday before. We sort of knew that she would arrive before the session. We were excited to get a call from Alanna informing us that she was here. We finally met little Alexis a few days ago for her newborn portraits. Here are a few images from the session. Congratulations Alanna!

It’s not often that we get to photograph a female soldier. I (Jae’) know from experience that sometimes you do not feel pretty in BDU’s and combat boots. That’s why when you get the opportunity to let your hair down and feel and look pretty it’s always a wonderful moment. Especially if you’re expecting your first baby, like Kristina. She was so much fun to work with and full of joy. We all fought through the giant ants and poison ivy to get what we envisioned. We are looking forward to meeting the little guy and photographing him with mommy and daddy. Here are a few images from the maternity session. Enjoy!!

Teddy & Jae’

I think it was probably the hottest day in Georgia ever on their wedding day, but we made the best of the heat. We took Sam and his men on a little stroll on Cherry Street during one of the largest classic car shows in town while Jessica prepared to be Mrs. Hutchins. He even got a shout out from the announcer. Jessica has been the most excited bride we’ve ever had and we do not blame her. If the reception had a theme, the theme would be, “The Big Easy”. We loved how they added a hint of “N’awlins” to the reception. The second line was lots of fun. Congratulations Jessica and Sam. Here are a few images from the wedding day.

It’s nothing for us to get into the “EP Mobile” and take a trip to unique and fun places. This time we traveled a short distance to High Falls State Park in Jackson, GA. The weather was nice for 8:00am in Georgia. We really enjoyed our session with the Valentine. They have the perfect last name with all the love that was shown to each other. The kids are so adorable and you’ll see why in the images. We did a little hiking, shell collecting, and laughing. I (Jae’) know one thing hiking sure does let you know how in or out of shape you are…..Thanks for spending the morning with us. Here are a few images from our wonderful time with the Valentine’s….Enjoy!
Love,
Teddy & Jae’

The beginning of summer always brings blueberries for us. This year was a huge crop for berries.

You all know that we love to do different things and go different places. Well, this time we went to Juliette, GA – McCrackin Dr. the location where the movie Fried Green Tomatoes was filmed. This engagement session was packed full of fun and love. First of all, these are some of the nicest people ever, and they invited us to some of their favorite places in Juliette. J even shared a few of his childhood memories where he spent most of his summer days at the mill and dam. Now the dam was another story in itself. We loved how Anna and J were willing to step out onto the ledge of the waterfall and slide across rocks and algae to make their session memorable. This was a really nice change of pace for us to shoot in new and meaningful locations. We are looking forward to your wedding in September on Lake Oconee! Here are a few images from the session…Enjoy!
Love,
Teddy & Jae’

Another one of our baby club members has turned one. It seems like it was yesterday that we were doing his newborn portraits. We’ve watched him go from barely sitting up to walking super fast. His big sister Frances also got in on the portrait session. It has been great capturing every moment. We know that Elijah will be a great big brother. Happy Birthday Elijah!! Here are a few images from the birthday session.

What does this couple have in common? Well let me tell you. They attended the same college, pursued the same career, both are principals in Henry County, GA, married, OH and they’re having a baby! We took this wonderful couple to Shirley Hills Park for their portrait session. The first session was rained out. Thankfully the rain held out yesterday for an hour or two to capture the glow. Joycelyn and Purvis have about five more weeks to go and they’ll be welcoming their little bundle of joy. We are so happy for you. Here are a few images from the portrait session. Enjoy!
Love,
Teddy & Jae’

This was taken after finishing the Styles family session. Our kiddo came with us to the session and as we walked back to the car I snap this shot. Pretty amazing….
