The Historic District of Savannah is buzzing with creativity, art, culture and makes the perfect place to spend a weekend filled with portrait taking. This family came from near and far to spend time together and to take family portraits. We started out in several of the historic parks; one being Forsyth Park. Thomas got a few photography pointers along the way. Our final destination was River St. where the street was filled with locals, tourists, restaurants, and street performers. Sisters – Janice, Elizabeth, and Patricia threw on their wigs and did a little performing of their own. Mom and dad smiled as they watched their daughters and son-in-law enjoy this beautiful day. Thank you for allowing us to spend time and capture this special moment of your family in Savannah. Here are a few images from the session. Enjoy!!
Living in Georgia we do not see as much snow as we’d like. Our local weather man was a bit skeptical about all the snow hoopla as well. It was amazing how one minute it was nice and sunny and the next SNOW. Growing up, I (Jae’) was told that it God getting a haircut . As photographers, we could not resist going out in all of the white stuff. So, we decided to go to one of our favorite locations to shoot “Hollows Lost Woods” (that’s what we named it). The snow was fun, but we hate how it looks after it melts. Here are a few images from our little Photo Stroll. Enjoy and Happy Valentine’s Day!!
You know, most little girls spend most of their lives dreaming about the Cinderella story. They even go as far as singing, “Some day my Prince will come….” This month Tara’s dream came true. She married her Prince Charming David. The wedding and reception took place at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone, GA. We all watched as Tara was brought to her Prince David by way of a horse drawn pumpkin shaped carriage. Enough of my chatter, I’ll let you all see for yourselves. Congratulations David and Tara. Enjoy!!
If I had to use one word to describe this wedding it would be Modern Vintage Elegance (I know….that was three words.Stop me if you can).Chris and Sabrina were married October 3rd at the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, followed by a wine themed reception at the Biltmore Ballrooms. For some reason Teddy and I could not stop photographing this couple. We decided to stay a little longer and photograph them at their suite at The W Hotel – Midtown. Here are a few images from this wonderful day.Congratulations Chris and Sabrina.Salute!!!
Our little one celebrated her 4th birthday on yesterday. Tuesday morning Teddy and I sang the birthday song accompanied by a few kisses only to have Trinity say, “Eww Mom…no kisses!” I think that’s a sign that my little girl is growing up. She celebrated her birthday evening at a Butterfly Fairy themed party with family and friends. They all received lots of attention while doing the Fairy Stroll and singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and Jesus Loves ME in the mall. Thank you all so much. Here are a few images from the party. Enjoy!!
We absolutely love these two. They have so much personality…..Maybe because they’re actors. It seemed like we were never going to photograph them with all the rain here in Georgia. Somehow, we managed to get one dry day. We decided to have the session the small town of Byron, GA at The Byron Depot. Trains and tutu were a perfect combination. Here are a few images from sister and brother duo. Enjoy!!
Heath and Lindsey were married September 5th at Avondale Baptist Church in Macon, GA. They are such a loving couple and they love the Lord. They did something that really touched us while shooting. Heath and Lindsey wanted to see each other before the wedding (absolutely love this idea) and wanted to have an intimate moment of prayer at the altar. Yes, I (Jae’) had to shed a tear or two. The wedding was followed by a very energetic reception at the Hephzibah Children’s Home. We are so happy for this couple and really enjoyed photographing their wedding. Here are a few images from the celebration. Enjoy!
This baby was all smiles and giggles from the time we started until the time she went down for a nap. We just love the little folds and rolls. She would also do this little sigh like she was probably thinking to herself, “It’s hard being a cutie.” We’re very happy about the opportunity to capture her dedication ceremony next month. Stay tuned for the blog entry! Here are a few images from Christina’s 3 month session. Enjoy!
We met Megan a few months ago at a wedding we had to shoot. She expressed how she wanted to do a session with us and would get back with us soon. We were excited last week when we heard back from her. Last Saturday we did her shoot and all we can say is, “Megan the Agency will love you”. We wish her well and look forward to seeing you on a few spreads, covers, commercials, etc. Special thanks to her mother for coming out to support. Congratulations Megan!!!! Here are a few images from the shoot. Enjoy!!
Last week I posted about summer projects for 2009 which was reupholstering children’s furniture. I am pleased to show our new addition to our children’s furniture line. I cannot wait to use this in a portrait session. A personal thank you goes out to Alex at Lipson’s Fabrics who helped me with the fabric choice. Part two is coming soon…
