We had the pleasure of meeting the Horvath family last year at the Operation Camouflage Christmas event for military families. On Monday, the weather was a bit cooler, but perfect for their family session. This family was so much fun. We had moments where we felt like we were at our very own rock concert. We absolutely appreciate their natural beauty and handsomeness. Here are a few images from the session. Enjoy!!

The Historic District of Savannah is buzzing with creativity, art, culture and makes the perfect place to spend a weekend filled with portrait taking. This family came from near and far to spend time together and to take family portraits. We started out in several of the historic parks; one being Forsyth Park. Thomas got a few photography pointers along the way. Our final destination was River St. where the street was filled with locals, tourists, restaurants, and street performers. Sisters – Janice, Elizabeth, and Patricia threw on their wigs and did a little performing of their own. Mom and dad smiled as they watched their daughters and son-in-law enjoy this beautiful day. Thank you for allowing us to spend time and capture this special moment of your family in Savannah. Here are a few images from the session. Enjoy!!
Love,
Teddy & Jae’

Artist Spotlight – Marcia N. Waller-Searcy
Author and Illustrator of “From A to Z with Marlee”
We were pleased to host the book signing for our friend Marcia at our gallery last weekend. With the high rate of illiteracy amongst teens and young adults, it’s only fitting to start teaching children how and the importance of reading and comprehension at an early age. Marcia is a native of Macon, GA. She is motivated by her wonderful husband Marian, mother Sharon, and sister Jennifer; and has dedicated her life to fulfilling the creative spark that lives within. The inspiration for this book comes from two little balls of energy Breanna her daughter and Donnovan her nephew. She enjoys writing poetry, short stories, and children’s literature. Stay tuned for more Marlee books to come. Here are a few images from the signing. Congratulations Marcia on your first children’s book.

It’s always great to watch our babies grow. Mr. Elijah was in his own world and enjoyed every minute. While mommy tried keeping him neat and clean, he had his own agenda and that was to crawl around in the grass, make funny faces, and clap his hands. Oh the joy of being a baby…..no cares in the world. I’m sure Mr. Elijah will be a great big brother. Here are a few images from his 10 month session.

For those of you who are in the military know that it’s never easy for you or for your family when duty calls and you have to deploy. So to keep his mind off of things a bit Chase decided to do something for himself before he leaves in 2 weeks. That something was to have his first photo shoot. We found a few locations that were oh so fitting to his style and personality. It was a bit colder than expected, but he was a trooper. We had a great time during this shoot. KIDROBOT, we are praying for you and your safe and speedy return. Here are a few images from the shoot.

It was nice to get a spring preview in the winter. The weather couldn’t have been better for Ciara and Marcus’ engagement session. We decided to take them back to where it all started – Fort Valley, Georgia. First stop was Massee Lane Gardens one of Georgia’s hidden treasures. Beautiful garden, beautiful couple, and cute little puppies. Ciara and Marcus also showed us a little bit of their athletic ability by doing a few cartwheels and back flips. Our next stop was Fort Valley State University where their love for each other began where Marcus was on the football team and Ciara was a cheerleader. I’m sure a few stunts and touchdowns were made to impress. Marcus scored the ultimate touchdown when he asked Ciara to be his wife. We’re looking forward to capturing their special day March 8th in Warner Robins, Georgia. Here are a few images from their session. Enjoy!!

More scouting. One of my favorite locations I can only visit once a year.
