This engagement session took place at Dauset Trails in Jackson, GA. If you’re into nature, this is a great place to visit. They have so much love and concern for their family. I do not get emotional often during engagement sessions, but this time I did (shhhhh, no one knows). There were so many sentimental factors that went into this session. As you look through our blog you may notice that we have very few newborn baby boys. We were super happy to get a chance to photograph a newborn boy, K.J. He is such a handsome little guy. We are happy for Kelvin and Latasha on their first born and look forward to watching him grow. Here are a few images from the session.
This couple was extremely fun to photograph. They wanted to do their engagement session in a less urban area, so we took them to Pineola Farms in Fort Valley, GA. We loved how they were not afraid to show us how much they were in love. They even showed us a few of their dance moves. Joshua and Jessica are great dancers bt the way. We’ve always wanted to have our work featured in a national magazine and today our dream came true! We were contacted by Popular Photography magazine to participate in their article on family photography and now the magazine is out. Check out your local book store for the December 2009 issue and you may see a familiar face, our very own daughter Trinity along with tips from Exodus Photography on family photography.
Last Saturday we had the opportunity of photographing and meeting the Smith family for the first time. We were very excited about welcoming their new baby “E”. I know that most people feel that they have the best stylists in the world, but I really do. In October 2008, I (Jae’) made the decision to whack off all of my hair and try something new. I had no idea where to go so I asked the Lord to guide me. I came across a stylist in the phonebook by the name of Victoria Davis who said that she specialized in healthy hair, precision cuts, and color. I gave her a try and have been pleased ever since. At the time, she had just moved into her very own salon Split Endz. On November 6, 2009 I along with some of her clients celebrated with her as she had her grand opening of Split Endz II. Halloween weekend was a very exciting weekend for Exodus Photography. It was exciting because we had our grand opening, ribbon cutting, wine tasting, welcomed trick or treaters, captured the awesome Michael Jackson tribute by The Phillips Performing Arts Group, and gave out gift certificates. The thing that brought joy to our hearts was how people of all nationalities, ages, status, etc. came together to dance. What better way to end the night than with dancing. WHEW!!!!! On October 24th we had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful couple. We started the day by capturing them along with the wedding party at one of the local farms. It’s always great to have favor with the local farmers. They also had a very intimate ceremony at the International City Conference Center in Warner Robins, GA. We decided to surprise the Payne’s and their guest with a Live Photobooth at their reception. It was a huge hit with everyone. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs.Payne. Last week, we had the pleasure of photographing Pastor Heri Hernandez for his new CD that will be release in 2010. The CD will consist of love, praise, and worship songs. Pastor Hernandez is the pastor of Maxima Alabanza Centro De Adoracion Interncaional in Warner Robins, GA. Pastor Hernandez has released over five CDs with his current being a compilation titled Heri – Enviado and a book Cuando Dios Ruge (When God Roars!). His goal is to develop strong leadership within the church, create avenues for growth in all areas, and to minister to the Latino community and the world.
