We traveled a short distance to Atlanta, GA to witness and capture the baby dedication of little miss Christina. The dedication took place at the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his father were once pastors. It was a wonderful feeling to watch Christina be lifted high in the air like baby Simba on The Lion King as her parents, family, and friends were witnesses. We were so honored to capture this day. Here are a few images from the dedication. Enjoy!!
We were proud to be the photo sponsors for the March of Dimes walk in Houston County, GA. The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. The March of Dimes carries out this mission through programs of research, advocacy, community service and education. The March of Dimes is here for all babies. In Georgia alone, one in every seven babies is born premature. We had a fun filled morning or walking, running, and dancing with music provided by Douglas Productions. We even had a moment where were danced to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Here area a few images and video from this great cause. We absolutely love these two. They have so much personality…..Maybe because they’re actors. It seemed like we were never going to photograph them with all the rain here in Georgia. Somehow, we managed to get one dry day. We decided to have the session the small town of Byron, GA at The Byron Depot. Trains and tutu were a perfect combination. Here are a few images from sister and brother duo. Enjoy!!
This was such a fun family session. Lane Southern Orchards in Fort Valley, GA was an awesome location for this session. Surrounded by huge peach orchards, playground, and a Zinnia flower patch. We had so much fun chasing the kids around and capturing great photos of the family. Mr. E absolute loved the swings and merry-go-round and Mr. S was all about the tractors. We even had an intimate session with mom and dad. Enjoy the sneak peek!
Such a sweet 2 month old newbie. She wasn’t in the mood to smile much in front of the camera, but as soon as the camera was away she was full of smiles and giggles. We just love the little games babies play. We look forward to seeing little Kamryn grow this year. Here are little preview from her 1st session. Enjoy!
Heath and Lindsey were married September 5th at Avondale Baptist Church in Macon, GA. They are such a loving couple and they love the Lord. They did something that really touched us while shooting. Heath and Lindsey wanted to see each other before the wedding (absolutely love this idea) and wanted to have an intimate moment of prayer at the altar. Yes, I (Jae’) had to shed a tear or two. The wedding was followed by a very energetic reception at the Hephzibah Children’s Home. We are so happy for this couple and really enjoyed photographing their wedding. Here are a few images from the celebration. Enjoy!
We absolutely love when families come together for portraits. Not only does it give us an opportunity to meet everyone, but it shows us the importance of family time. Not all families are close, but when they get together it’s a wonderful moment. Not only did the Walker’s have beauty, but they also had their own style. Especially the little guy. It’s a bitter sweet time for the Walker family. Seeing one of their daughters, sisters, aunt accomplish her goals, but having to leave for a few years to serve our country. What better way to spend time together as a family than to capture these sweet moments in photographs. We know that you family is proud of you, but so are we. We appreciate you and wish you well. Here are a few images from the session….Enjoy!
