Waiting for you!

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

Man O’ Man…what a beautiful sight. A few days ago we had the honor of capturing such great beauty. I know people say that you glow when you’re pregnant. Well, Danyea really glows. Danyea and Israel are expecting their first child in August. Not only is Danyea waiting for her little angel to come, but also her husband Israel to be home from Iraq in time for the baby’s arrival. We are so excited to capture their moments together very soon. Israel, if you’re reading this know that Exodus Photography is praying for you. Here are a few images from our session with the mother to be. Enjoy!!

Love,

Teddy & Jae’

Rachel & Devell

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Last week we had the honor of photographing this wonderful couple.  The original engagement session was completely rained out.  Would have been nice to photograph in the rain, but with all the thunder and lightening we felt that safety was our first concern.  It’s always great to work with couples whose love for each other comes naturally.  Rachel & Devell will be married September 6, 2008.  We look forward to capturing this joyous occasion.  Here are a few images from their session.  Enjoy!!

Love,
Teddy & Jae’

Summer Project

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

When I was growing up, my mother always wanted us to pick a craft to work on during the summer.  I remember the excitement of working on ceramics and taking pride in my work.  So each year I look for a new project to work on.  Last year it was making a hat for my little girl, this year it is reupholstery.   From time to time my wife and I visit the antique malls for antiques to use in our children portraits.  While visiting the Payne Mill Antiques in Macon, I came across an old chair for $12 and I knew this would make a great summer project.  Check out the before shots and after shots.
