As you all know, we really love to photograph babies. It’s always a special moment for us as well as the parents. We had planned to do a maternity session with Alanna on a Wednesday, but little Miss Alexis decided that she was ready to say hello to the world the Monday before. We sort of knew that she would arrive before the session. We were excited to get a call from Alanna informing us that she was here. A few years ago we had the honor of being the photographers for Al and Tomia’s wedding. We are so happy to announce the birth of their latest addition…Christina. Christina was born May 5th. We traveled to Atlanta to photograph Christina’s very first portraits. It’s special to us not only because they are clients, but they’re also friends. Yesterday we had the honors of photographing a precious newborn. You may remember this couple from last year. Now they have one more to add to the equation, Baby “E”. It’s always a great feeling to be included in these types of milestones. We also had the pleasure of meeting Rob’s parents who are here visiting from Virginia. Exactly two days after the maternity session with Chris and Miranda, Little Butler decided he was ready to meet mom and dad. Butler was not due until late October.He arrived September 2nd.It was such a shock to receive a call from Miranda saying, “He’s here!”Our biggest concern was the health of both mom and baby.He weighed right at 4 pounds at birth.Last weekend we finally met Butler.He now weighs 6.5 pounds and is very alert.Congratulations Chris and Miranda on your new addition.Here are a few images from their session.Enjoy!!
There is nothing like receiving a new life into this world. We had the honor of capturing this very special moment last weekend. I’m sure you remember this beautiful mother to be, Danyea. Well, meet the love of her life plus 1 Israel and London. Daddy only had about 3 days left before he headed back to Iraq. So we made sure to get images of daddy and his 7 day old baby girl, London. Now he has one additional person to protect. Both mommy and baby are fine and are home getting much needed rest. Here are a few images from their session. Enjoy!!
