We always look forward to photographing classmates. It’s great to catch up and see what they’ve been up to since high school. Well, we had an awesome time with Shaundra. She needed a few updated headshots and personal shots, so we introduced her to the modern headshots. Since Shaundra is a University Librarian we wanted to show that librarians have style and class. It’s not often that we get an opportunity to photograph our high school classmates.  It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with Greg, Tiffany, and Roxy.  The session took place in Downtown Macon, GA.  We also took Roxy to the dog park for her own little play time and photos.  We are looking forward to witnessing Greg’s venture for a project that he has in the making.  We absolutely love to see our family and friends make their dreams a reality.  We are so excited about what’s to come .  Here are a few images from the session.  Enjoy!!

Last weekend we had the pleasure of photographing the 1st Miss Black Macon, Georgia, Erica-Christina Little. Erica-Christina is a graduate of Savannah State University, and is a 3rd grade teacher at St. Peter Claver. She has held numerous titles in her pageant career. We took Miss Black Macon to 3rd Street in downtown Macon. Thanks to Tomekia Pertillo Hawkins with The Eyes Have It for serving as the make-up artist. Easter Lily, East Lily, boys and girls don’t be so Silly Yes, that was one of my Easter speeches when I was a kid. Sad, but true. This Easter I had the honor spending my Resurrection morning photographing little Miss Christina before church. She was all smiles and excited about playing with her Easter goodies. After a few frames she was worn out and ready form blueberry pancakes from her grandmother. It’s the little things that make us so happy to capture families. Here are a few images from the session. We had the pleasure of meeting the Horvath family last year at the Operation Camouflage Christmas event for military families. On Monday, the weather was a bit cooler, but perfect for their family session. This family was so much fun. We had moments where we felt like we were at our very own rock concert. For those of you who are in the military know that it’s never easy for you or for your family when duty calls and you have to deploy. So to keep his mind off of things a bit Chase decided to do something for himself before he leaves in 2 weeks. That something was to have his first photo shoot. We found a few locations that were oh so fitting to his style and personality. It was a bit colder than expected, but he was a trooper. We had a great time during this shoot. We all know how difficult it is to get the adult children together for the holidays. Trust me, Teddy and I have yet to make it happen with our families. On December 26th while some were suffering from “It is” we were out photographing the exciting Blevens family. They all have their unique styles(which we absolutely loved). Kyle was super excited about his new ride and decided to take photos with it. Eric the social networking guru showed a few tats and explained the significance of 456. Gwen reminded us of her “Good” side. To be honest she did not have a bad side. Mom and Dad were fun and laid back. We truly enjoyed our last family to photograph in 2009. Last week, we had the pleasure of photographing Pastor Heri Hernandez for his new CD that will be release in 2010. The CD will consist of love, praise, and worship songs. Pastor Hernandez is the pastor of Maxima Alabanza Centro De Adoracion Interncaional in Warner Robins, GA. Pastor Hernandez has released over five CDs with his current being a compilation titled Heri – Enviado and a book Cuando Dios Ruge (When God Roars!). His goal is to develop strong leadership within the church, create avenues for growth in all areas, and to minister to the Latino community and the world. We absolutely love these two. They have so much personality…..Maybe because they’re actors. It seemed like we were never going to photograph them with all the rain here in Georgia. Somehow, we managed to get one dry day. We decided to have the session the small town of Byron, GA at The Byron Depot. Trains and tutu were a perfect combination.
