It’s always refreshing for us to end our weekend and start our week with a wonderful photography session. We had a great time with the Johnson family in downtown Macon. Loving husband and father KJ had fun. Big Brother Ques is such a cool and smart young man. Mom, Ok Mom was stylish. Who said that you can’t be stylish while pregnant? Maternity Saturday continued!!

We had a wonderful time with Bryant and Chae during their maternity session. Chae sorta reminds me of myself(Jae’), which I thought was pretty funny. You’ll be amazed at some of the things pregnant women can do with only 4 weeks to go. Bryant was really looking out for his treasure, while Chae was a go getter. It’s a wonderful thing when you can share things with you clients that will have you laughing during the rest of the session. We are so happy for you both and look forward to little Michael coming into this great big world.

If last Saturday had a name, it would be called “Maternity Saturday” since we had a few maternity sessions lined up for the day. We were out and about bright and early to photograph Jay and Tiffany. Fort Valley seemed to be the best place for their session. It was not busy and nothing was open at that time of morning. We took advantage of several locations in the area. There was a few times where Tiffany gave us a scare. As a matter of fact, by the time she and Jay read this blog, they’ll be heading off to welcome little Jay to the world. As you all know, Georgia has been crazy hot lately along with the rest of the country.  However, we managed to photograph Shenica along with her daughter Jade in a very shaded and cool park.  Andre was close by, but decided that this would be a mother daughter session.  He was a great help to his wife and daughter.  It was great capturing their wedding day and consider it a pleasure to capture a new chapter in their lives.  We are excited about the twins that are on the way and even more excited that she’s having a girl for her and a boy for Andre.  We know that Jade will be a wonderful big sister.  We can’t wait to photograph you all with your new editions in a few months.  Here are a few images from the session.  Enjoy!!

It’s not often that we get to photograph a female soldier. I (Jae’) know from experience that sometimes you do not feel pretty in BDU’s and combat boots. That’s why when you get the opportunity to let your hair down and feel and look pretty it’s always a wonderful moment. Especially if you’re expecting your first baby, like Kristina. She was so much fun to work with and full of joy. We all fought through the giant ants and poison ivy to get what we envisioned. What does this couple have in common? Well let me tell you. They attended the same college, pursued the same career, both are principals in Henry County, GA, married, OH and they’re having a baby! We took this wonderful couple to Shirley Hills Park for their portrait session. The first session was rained out. Thankfully the rain held out yesterday for an hour or two to capture the glow. It’s always great shooting members of our own family. We’re super excited about the new addition that will soon be here. This will be their 3rd child. We wanted to say rain, rain, go away, but it was oh so appropriate for this wonderful maternity session. We had a great time this session. We chose Central City Park and The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame for their session. Even though it was raining, there was sunshine on their faces. I must commend Erika for wearing those 3.5-4 inch heels. She wore them with style and class. This will be the couple’s first child. The little one is scheduled to arrive the first week in July. Not long ago we were with Devell and Rachel shooting their wedding and reception. We received a phone call about 9 months ago from Rachel saying, “Jae’, it looks like I may not be able to do my Fearless Bridal (trash the dress) session.  I began to ask why and was a little concerned and she said, “Because I’m PREGNANT!!! I was so happy to hear that she and Devell were expecting their first baby.  We were able to capture a few maternity shots week 38.  The baby is due to arrive June 1st.  We are anticipating the phone call telling us that he or she is here and is healthy.  Congratulations to you both.   Here are a few images from the session. Robbie and Charles are getting married in May and we have the privilege of being their photographers. We got together on last weekend for their engagement session and we had a ball.
