Another one of our baby club members has turned one. It seems like it was yesterday that we were doing his newborn portraits. We’ve watched him go from barely sitting up to walking super fast. His big sister Frances also got in on the portrait session. It has been great capturing every moment. We know that Elijah will be a great big brother. Happy Birthday Elijah!! Had a very eventful weekend, but started it with a wonderful session at one of our favorite locations with the Styles family. We absolutely love to photograph our baby club members. It gives us an opportunity to see how much the little ones have grown. Little Kamryn is 10 months now and just as cute as can be. We were about 15 minutes in the shoot when all of a sudden the rain came from out of nowhere. It’s amazing what 5 seconds of pouring rain can do. We still managed to get a few more photos in after the rain and we’re so glad that we did. Here are a few images from the Styles family session. Enjoy!!

Back in December we announced that our work was featured in a national magazine called Popular Photography. The December 2009 issue featured our very own daughter Trinity along with tips from Exodus Photography on family photography.
To our surprise again we were contacted by Popular Photography for the use of Trinity for a “how to” article on finding the gray point of a photograph on pages 44-46. The May 2010 issue of Popular Photography Magazine is out NOW. Please check it out.

Easter Lily, East Lily, boys and girls don’t be so Silly 
Yes, that was one of my Easter speeches when I was a kid. Sad, but true. This Easter I had the honor spending my Resurrection morning photographing little Miss Christina before church. She was all smiles and excited about playing with her Easter goodies. After a few frames she was worn out and ready form blueberry pancakes from her grandmother. It’s always great to celebrate kid’s birthdays. In this case we celebrated little Brandon’s a little early by capturing special moments with his parents and grandparents. The theme for his party this week will be trains, so we went to the Train Depot in Byron, GA. Please join us in wishing Brandon a Happy Birthday.

I (Jae’) think I’ve known Sharon for about 5 years now and it all goes back to when I was a fairly new mom and joined a local moms group called The Moms Troop. At the time the Hesters only had one daughter and a son on the way. The Hesters moved to another city in Georgia and has since added on to the family another sweet daughter. We were so excited to finally photograph their beautiful family on Coleman Hill in Macon, GA. We even found a few left over plastic Easter Eggs filled with candy. It’s always great to watch our babies grow. Mr. Elijah was in his own world and enjoyed every minute. While mommy tried keeping him neat and clean, he had his own agenda and that was to crawl around in the grass, make funny faces, and clap his hands. Oh the joy of being a baby…..no cares in the world. I’m sure Mr. Elijah will be a great big brother. Here are a few images from his 10 month session.

We absolutely love these two. They have so much personality…..Maybe because they’re actors. It seemed like we were never going to photograph them with all the rain here in Georgia. Somehow, we managed to get one dry day. We decided to have the session the small town of Byron, GA at The Byron Depot. Trains and tutu were a perfect combination. This was such a fun family session. Lane Southern Orchards in Fort Valley, GA was an awesome location for this session. Surrounded by huge peach orchards, playground, and a Zinnia flower patch. We had so much fun chasing the kids around and capturing great photos of the family. Mr. E absolute loved the swings and merry-go-round and Mr. S was all about the tractors. We even had an intimate session with mom and dad. Enjoy the sneak peek!
